Our staff ratio of one to six assures that each of our clients is receiving personal care and attention. In both group settings and one-on-one interactions, our staff provides sensitive care that secures our clients’ sense of dignity.

To visit the Program or to schedule a visit please call (617)643-8150.

We offer:
Medical Supervision - Under our medical staff’s careful watch, we can detect small changes in our clients’ health that we readily share with the family physician for early intervention. Our on-site registered nurse cares for acute day-to-day medical issues, carries out orders from the client’s personal physician and administers any needed medications and dressing changes. We have a separate exam room and a well-equipped therapy room for physical therapy consultation.

Service Coordination - Our on-site social worker coordinates all medical appointments, as well as transportation and a volunteer, whenever necessary, to accompany a client. We help with securing payment for prescriptions and coordinate any other services our clients may need.

Nutrition – Our clients enjoy a wholesome breakfast, a hot lunch and snacks daily, all eaten among friends.

Personal Care – Loved ones are sometimes embarrassed to have a caregiver bathe them. At our Center, we give our clients dignified assistance with showering and grooming. We also offer regular trips to the hairdresser and barber.

To make it as easy for caregivers as possible, we provide:

Door-to-door transportation from the client’s home to the center and back
Flexible hours for our clients- we are open 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
Flexible choices of services that can be tailored to meet the individual needs of our clients and their caregivers
A monthly newsletter with helpful information and a calendar of events
